This presentation will cover an introduction to trauma-informed design research for suicide researchers. After this seminar, attendees should be able to recognize what trauma is and examine how trauma influences research processes through stories based on lived experience. We hope this seminar will empower attendees to begin implementing strategies for drawing on lived experiences with trauma to approach research with sensitivity, care, & compassion.
