Suicide Care Research Center Methods Seminar Series
This seminar series was created to equip participants with the tools and knowledge to design, implement, and evaluate effective research to improve suicide care. In addition to (co)presenting several seminars, I coordinated and managed the assessment of the entire seminar series, Seminars were created for research teams, support faculty, and staff at the University of Washington’s Suicide Care Research Center (SCRC).
Learning Objectives
By the end of this series, participants will be able to:
Apply the principles of human-centered design and/or MOST frameworks to their research on SCRC’s suicide care pathway.
Describe qualitative and quantitative data collection methods and analysis techniques relevant to research in suicide prevention.
Utilize methods to analyze the effectiveness of research studies in improving best practices along the suicide care pathway.
Utilize strategies to translate research findings into practical improvements to SCRC’s suicide care pathway.
